NSPCC Results

A full complement of Deanwood members and regular visitors hit the fairways on Wednesday for the annual NSPCC Charity Golf Day. The familiar texas scramble format combined with brilliant sunshine and a tip top course made for a wonderful morning culminating in an approximate figure of £500 for the worthy cause.

The winners of the event were James Theunnissen, Roland Gardner and Richard Spurrier with a net score of 54.3. Runners up with 55.3 were Steve Warren and trophy sponsors Keith & Tess Chantrey. Tess also took the longest drive prize for Ladies. Vice-Captain Mike Palmer alongside Mike York and John Byrne were 3rd with 58. The Mens longest drive was won by David Lyons with his last shot of the day and Allison Holmes took the Nearest the Pin prize.
