Allan Snook/NSPCC Texas Scramble
Allan Snook built our little 9 hole gem of a course back in 1994/95 and developed the business over the following 20 years at which point it wasn't too far off how you all know it today. The Snooks were always strong supporters of the NSPCC and this event has become permanently linked with that worthy cause.
The price remains unchanged since 2018 and we hope you will all join us for it on Friday 12th August in the traditional Texas Scramble format. The entry fee for all includes a donation of £8-£10 per person for the charity.

Chef Change
On Thursday we say goodbye to Jenny Ward who moves on to pastures new and we thank her for her great work in taking the Deanwood kitchen forwards and making it a reliable source for many of you to have breakfast, lunch or a function meal.
In her place we are to welcome back Zsolt Taksony who was here before Jenny and is returning for a second stint with us. He comes with much experience and a great enthusiasm and we are delighted to have him back. His start date is yet to be confirmed but hopefully there won't be too much of a disruption to normal service.

Finally another date for your diary...
We are having a Late Summer BBQ with live music from Sion Whiley. It will be on Saturday 27th August at approx 4pm so please put the date in your diary and we will fill in the details very soon.
