Charity Cheque Presentation

This is a cheque for £4168 being presented to Jerry Dixon of Newbury Samaritans. The amount was raised throughout Deanwood Park Club Captain Mike York’s year in office. A fair amount was raised on Captains Charity Day which was sponsored by Wilson Golf, represented in the photo by Area Sales Manager Johnny Daniel.
Mike was delighted with the total and the support he received throughout his year as Captain from all the members and regulars at Deanwood.
Jerry Dixon of Newbury Samaritans said how grateful the organisation is for the work that has gone into raising this sum which will fund this much needed local charity for a full 3 months.
