More Parking – More Convenience!
Great news! The extra car parking spaces are now complete and ready for use, making it easier than ever to visit the club hassle-free.
1st Tee Glow-Up!
Our 1st tee renovation is well underway, and we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of fresh turf (though it’s taking its sweet time!). Fingers crossed, we’ll have it looking pristine and ready for action by summer!
Ladies’ Bingo Bango Bongo – A Smashing Success!
A massive well done to our Ladies' Section for raising an impressive £275 at their recent Bingo Bango Bongo event. Thirty-three ladies teed off for nine holes of fun, followed by a lively bingo session and plenty of laughs in the clubhouse!
Ukraine Collection – A Huge Thank You!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the collection for Ukraine, organised by our wonderful Nigel & Jane Connor. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Quiz Nights – Get Your Thinking Caps On!
Mark your calendars! The next Quiz Night is on Tuesday, 4th March, with the ever-entertaining quizmaster Ian Osmond. We’re making these a regular event on the first Tuesday of every month (with a summer break from June to September). Ian will return in May, while Colin Jones takes the hot seat in April. Get your teams of four together and join the fun for just £25 per team!
Course Upgrade in Progress!
Exciting changes are happening! We’re re-routing the course exit by removing the hedge between the patio and the driving range. This means more patio seating and less mud trailing into the clubhouse—win-win!
Sky TV Coming Soon!
Sports fans, rejoice! Sky TV is on its way to Deanwood! We’re expecting installation on Monday, 24th February, so soon you’ll be able to catch all the golf, football, and other top sporting action right here at the club.
Celebrating 30 Years of Deanwood!
Big things are happening as we hit the big 3-0! We’ll be kicking off celebrations in May, and the entry forms for our big anniversary fun day on Friday, 13th June, will be available from next week. The event will be a unique 10-hole challenge—nine on the course and one in The Bunker. Don’t miss out!
A Leadership Change – But Business as Usual!
From April, I’ll be splitting my time between Donnington Valley & Deanwood as I take the reins at both courses following Peter Smith’s well-earned retirement. After 25 years of incredible service, we wish Peter all the best! Rest assured, with our fantastic team in place, it’s business as usual at Deanwood.
