Allan Snook Memorial Trophy Result

Another successful Allan Snook /NSPCC Trophy took place last week on a beautiful & sunny Friday morning. The greenkeepers had Deanwood turned out in stunning condition and a great day was had by all.
Following the event the wining team of Jac Wood, Michelle Webber & John Bowness were awarded the trophy by Lucy Snook, the daughter of the late Allan Snook. Runners Up were Malcolm Sheppard, Roger Sheridan & Rob Martin. 3rd place went to Steve Ironside, John Porter & Mike Wroe.
Thanks on the day went to Roy Kennedy as starter and photographer and to the evergreen NSPCC ladies committee who continue to inspire the event. It was wonderful to have Lucy Snook in attendance and we will continue to work our way through the Snook siblings in the coming years.
The event including the raffle raised over £800 for the NSPCC, so congratulations to all involved.
