News Update

Dear All

Thank you for your patience with all our recent connectivity issue! I am pleased to say we are nearly all back to normal. Just one or two more tweaks early next week and we will be able to catch up with competition payments and progress the diary for 2020.

In the meantime there are a few events to remind you of...

Hopefully you are all booked for one of the various Christmas Meals at the club? I can confirm that at those events you will be able to use your "Free Wine" voucher but you must bring it with you.

If you would like vouchers to give as a Christmas present we can off them personalised and to cover golf, lessons or therapy treatments. Please ask in the shop, Therapy Centre or email me at john@deanwoodpark.co.uk

Pete Allen & his Jazz Band will be here once more this year on Sunday 15th December. The performance starts at 3.00pm and doors open at 2.30pm, payment of £15.50 is on the door. If you haven't had enough Christmas dinner our last Sunday Lunch of the year will be in the bar from 12.00 noon and is not directly connected with the Jazz. Both months previous have been very successful and popular so please give it a try.

Sadly I have to give notice that bar prices will increase from Monday 2nd December. We have missed an increase last year and some prices such as tea/coffee have been long overdue. I am confident our prices are still competitive and we have to be realistic about continually increasing costs.

Don't forget that there are still a few tickets available online for Elvis on Friday 20th & Sat 21st December but really not very many so don't miss out!

Finally on a very sad note I have to inform you that Dan Bailey is leaving us just before Christmas. This will be a big loss to the team and particularly disappointing for the Ladies Section who rely on Dan in the week to organise their start times. Dan has been with us for about a year & a half but now is finding it hard to balance his football and golf careers. We wish him well in the future and have no doubt we will see him as a regular visitor in the future. Recruitment for a replacement is underway.

Merry Christmas
