NSPCC Charity Day Results
A hole-in-one at the very first hole of his round helped Deanwood veteran Richard Stapleton and his team of Mike York & Graham Bradfield to win the annual NSPCC Charity Texas Scramble by just that one shot margin. Their team score of 56.2 was one ahead of Roy Kennedy, Alan Lawrence & Len Texel on 57.2. The family team of John Horsey and sons Guy & Oliver Horsey took 3rd place with 57.8.
Ladies Longest Drive went to Tess Chantrey from Donnington Valley, Roger King of Deanwood won the Mens Longest Drive while Guy Horsey won Nearest the Pin.
An excellent day was had by all on a beautifully prepared golf course.
