Handicap Membership
Ideal as a starter membership or a way to maintain your handicap status without paying a fortune!
Are you a nomadic golfer?
WHY?
·
Can’t afford club membership?
· Happy to be a nomadic golfer?
·
Need a Handicap Certificate?
YOU NEED A HANDICAP MEMBERSHIP!
With the increasing cost of golf club membership and the continuing bite of the credit crunch many people are choosing to relinquish their club membership and become a golfing nomad. Having spent years battling to maintain or improve your handicap it seems a shame to just let it lapse by not having an affiliation to a CONGU registered club.
There are many advantages to being a nomadic golfer. Clubs are constantly trying to attract new business with green fee deals so you can enjoy a great variety of courses for your money but many better courses require a handicap certificate.
Money saved on membership can also buy you plenty of entries into charity events, open tournaments & Pro-Ams but again you need a valid handicap certificate.
DID YOU KNOW?
From 1st January 2010 all handicaps will be marked as invalid if a minimum of 3 qualifying cards from competitions have not been submitted in the preceding 12 months.
Not only will a Deanwood Handicap Membership give you the security of a handicap & the freedom to roam but it will offer you special qualifying competitions at no extra cost to maintain your handicap.
The competitions will be a medal & stableford each month at discounted rates of green fees. There will be no entry fee & no prizes and the only people eligible will be those needing to validate their handicap.
EXAMPLE
A Typical Golf Club Membership £1000
Deanwood Handicap Membership -£35
Compulsory County Union Fees -£12.50
x3 Deanwood green fees -£60
SAVING = £892.50
“That’s a lot of green fees, a lot of freedom and maybe even a bit left over!”
PLUS
Once you are a member with an active handicap you can take part in all Deanwood events and competitions if you wish to.
How much more thought do you need to give it?
